Our Academic Members have the opportunity to enhance their students’ understanding of world affairs and strengthen their global competencies. An academic membership is a partnership between CCWA and a learning institution that offers students and educators tailored access to CCWA's array of international programming.

  • Opportunity to host CCWA’s guest speakers at your school or university (based on speakers’ availability).
  • Opportunity to host CCWA leadership as speakers at your school or university, including a former U.S. Ambassador and a former UN diplomat.
  • “Concierge service” relationship with CCWA, including a monthly email exclusive to academic members, access to CCWA resources, and priority access to CCWA programs.
  • Priority consideration for internships (undergraduate and graduate level students only)

  • Unlimited access for faculty to CCWA’s Foreign Policy Forums (public programs). Thanks to support from the Dr. and Mrs. Wael and Sawssan Khoury Students’ Fund, all students attend CCWA Foreign Policy Forums for free.
  • Preferential opportunity to host CCWA’s guest speakers.

Our Corporate Memberships give your company access to the members-only Cleveland Committee on Foreign Relations programs. CCFR access supports international professional development for corporate employees and includes networking with other globally-minded members.

SPECIAL MEMBER ACCESS

Travel with CCWA

CCWA members have access to access to the Travel the World travel program organized for the World Affairs Councils of America national network. Unique destinations and access to political leaders and local experts who give behind the scenes views and briefings make the trips unforgettable. Many trips include presenters from the diplomatic corps, news media, or academia and offer “meet the people” opportunities. The trips are available to CCWA members and are organized and run through the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia.
