There was lots of interest for our October 17 walking tour, so CCWA’s Young Professionals Advisory Committee decided to host another one for all the members who could not make it! YPAC is a body of young professionals who support the work of CCWA in its efforts to engage young professionals and students in our programming.

Join YPAC and CCWA for a special member event to learn more about one of Cleveland’s oldest and most beautiful treasures. Our members and young professionals will have an exclusive tour led by Thomas Turkaly, executive director of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation. We will learn more about the history of the Gardens, how they operate, the dedicated ethnic groups who take care of them, and how you can get involved! We will also hear from representatives of select gardens about their community’s history in Cleveland and the story of their garden.

The tour will begin promptly at 11:00 AM in the Italian Garden. Please note that this is a walking tour and will last 60-75 minutes. There is abundant street parking nearby along East Blvd. and adjacent side streets.

We look forward to seeing you there! This members-only event is free, but advance registration is requested. Guests are welcome. Thank you for being a member!
