Strengthening America’s Arctic Policy at Home and Abroad

Dr. Walter Berbrick is the founding director of the Arctic Studies Group at the U.S. Naval War College and an associate professor in the War Gaming Department. At the U.S. Naval War College, he leads research on joint and naval warfare, national security, and strategy in the Arctic. Previously, Dr. Berbrick was a senior advisor at the Department of State, and served more than 10 years in the U.S. Navy.

Dr. Berbrick will join the Cleveland Committee on Foreign Relations to discuss security in the Arctic and how the United States should position itself and strategize moving forward.
