Lessons from the Edge: Ukraine in Crisis | A Luncheon Event

FEATURING

Marie Yovanovitch, former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine

April 26, 2023

Event begins at 11:30am

Reflecting on the events that led to her removal as U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine in 2019, Marie โ€œMashaโ€ Yovanovitch has a stark but hopeful story to tell of the dedication of foreign service officers and her own career. Moving up through the ranks of the State Department, Yovanovitch leveraged her intelligence and work ethic to arrive at the post of Ambassador to Ukraine in 2016. Her endeavors to encourage democracy, support anti-corruption efforts, and advance U.S. interests and values in Ukraine no doubt left a lasting impression that continues to inform the policies of a country now under direct military attack. Please join us for a special luncheon and book signing event with the ambassador.

Books will be available at the event for purchase through a partnership with Visible Voice Books. Please consider pre-ordering your book as 15% of proceeds from pre-sales will be donated to Cleveland Council on World Affairs. To order your book in advance, please click here.ย
