CCFR is honored to host Rose Gottemoeller, William J. Perry Lecturer at Stanford University’s Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies, to discuss the future of European security. Drawing upon her experiences as the Deputy Secretary General of NATO from 2016 to 2019, Ms. Gottemoeller will analyze how European nations are being forced to reassess their roles in regard to their national and regional security. She will examine the ways in which Russia’s invasion of Ukraine continues to inform and influence Europe’s relationship with the U.S., and the ramifications of a more isolationist U.S. policy towards the continent.
The Cleveland Committee on Foreign Relations is a dinner and dialogue series that provides unparalleled access to top experts and diplomats for candid discussions of today’s most pressing international issues. Participation is exclusive to Diplomat and Ambassador members and their guests.
