CCWA’s Academic WorldQuest Competition
Academic WorldQuest is a national competition in which teams of high school students test their knowledge of international affairs, U.S. foreign policy, and current events. Teams compete over 10 rounds of questioning for the grand prize of representing Northern Ohio in the National Competition held in Washington, D.C. in April.
Our local Northern Ohio competition will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 4:30-8:00 PM in Fenn Tower Ballroom at Cleveland State University.
High school students from across Northeast Ohio are encouraged to register and participate in this year’s Academic WorldQuest competition!
The first place team advances to the National Academic WorldQuest competition to be held in Washington, DC from April 26-27, 2019. The competition is sponsored by the World Affairs Councils of America and participants will enjoy a weekend of national competition activities. The winning team will receive a stipend to defray the cost of hotel and travel expenses.
