SUMMARY:Exclusive Walking Tour of the Cultural Gardens with YPAC
DESCRIPTION:This event is the make-up tour for the postponed October 17 tour. You do not need to re-register if you previously registered for the October 17 tour. \nJoin CCWA and our Young Professionals Advisory Committee (YPAC) for a special member event to learn more about one of Cleveland’s oldest and most beautiful treasures. Our members and young professionals will have an exclusive tour led by Thomas Turkaly\, executive director of the Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation. We will learn more about the history of the Gardens\, how they operate\, the dedicated ethnic groups who take care of them\, and how you can get involved! We will also hear from representatives of select gardens about their community’s history in Cleveland and the story of their garden. \nYPAC is a body of young professionals who support the work of CCWA in its efforts to engage young professionals in our work. They provide program feedback\, coordinate events\, and serve as community ambassadors for CCWA. \nThe tour will begin promptly at 11:00 AM in the Italian Garden. Please note that this is a walking tour and will last 60-75 minutes. There is abundant street parking nearby along East Blvd. and adjacent side streets. \nWe look forward to seeing you there! This members-only event is free\, but advance registration is requested. Guests are welcome. Thank you for being a member!
