Young Leaders: NGOs and Civic Activism
April 23, 2014 - April 26, 2014

An IVLP group from Pakistan will visit Cleveland to learn how business and technology professionals support non-profits, youth engagement in the performing arts, and best practices in volunteer management. Cleveland offers international visitors the opportunity to engage with a historically active volunteer community.
International Visitors Program
Each year, over 300 professionals from around the world visit Northeast Ohio through the Council’s short and long-term exchange programs. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, International Visitors hosted by the Cleveland Council on World Affairs have been identified by U.S. embassies abroad as emerging leaders in their fields. The Council’s staff and volunteer “citizen diplomats” organize professional meetings, cultural events and home visits for program participants.
By connecting with foreign leaders we strengthen Northeast Ohio’s commercial, cultural and educational ties with the rest of the world. For more information, contact Ryan Ouellette, International Visitors Program Officer, at rouellette@ccwa.ccwa.org
