Women in Entrepreneurship
April 14, 2016 - April 19, 2016
The Cleveland Council on World Affairs looks forward to hosting five women from Saudi Arabia this April for the program “Women in Entrepreneurship.” This networking-focused program will bring visitors with vast business and entrepreneurship experience to Cleveland to meet other women in their fields of expertise. During their time in Cleveland, visitors will also participate in meetings with a women’s business center, a microfinance organization for women in entrepreneurship, an initiative to encourage women’s innovations in tech, and a local government agency that promotes women and minorities in business.
International Visitor Leadership (IVLP) Program
Each year, over 250 professionals from around the world visit Northeast Ohio through IVLP. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, these visitors have been identified by U.S. embassies as emerging leaders in their fields. Over 50 Nobel Laureates and 335 current or former Chiefs of State or Heads of Government are alumni of this program.
By connecting with foreign leaders we strengthen Northeast Ohio’s commercial, cultural, and educational ties with the rest of the world. For more information, contact Katie Ferman, Program Officer, at email@example.com or click here. To get involved as a Citizen Diplomat, click here.
