“Told: Migration, A Live Storytelling Event”

December 10, 2015 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

“Told” is a live storytelling event in which featured storytellers and audience volunteers take the stage to share a story around the evening’s theme. Inspired by the work of Korean-born artist Do Ho Suh, this “Told” program will use Suh’s consideration of home, immigration, and identity as a springboard for storytelling.

The featured storytellers will be announced soon. However, all audience members are invited (but not required) to prepare a story on the theme and submit their name for a chance to tell their tale. Stories should be under  6 minutes, true, and have a you as the central character. To prepare, practice your story with a friend, pet, or a “Told” staff member for extra polish. Also, check out the storytelling workshop on December 3. More information can be found on the Museum of Contemporary Art’s website, here.
