Klaus-Dieter Frankenberger is the Foreign Editor of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Germany’s leading daily newspaper. Frankenberger will join CCFR a month after the 2017 German federal election. Will Angela Merkel and the Christian Democrats come out victorious allowing Germany to fend off the rise of populism and continue to be looked to as the new leader of the western world?
