Model United Nations Conference (middle school)

CCWA’s Model UN program is a unique, interactive program that brings world affairs alive for students. On January 10-11, 2018, middle school students come together to debate international issues at the Henri Pell Junod, Jr. Model UN Conference at John Carroll University.
OPENING DAY OF THE CONFERENCE
9:00-9:15 Opening Ceremony
9:15-11:15 Committee Session I
11:15-11:45 Lunch Break (students should bring lunches)
11:45-1:15 Committee Session II
10:45-12:15 Committee Session IV
12:15-12:45 Lunch Break (lunch is provided to delegates, advisors, and staff)
12:45-1:15 Closing Ceremony
Model UN conferences afford students the opportunity to engage in dynamic, global learning by researching the international topics of debate and their country assignments, familiarizing themselves with the history of the United Nations, and becoming fluent in parliamentary procedure and debate tactics.
