Improving Export Potential for Kazakhstani Companies
April 21, 2014 - April 24, 2014
Visitors from Kazakhstan will come to Cleveland to analyze the political, social, environmental, and economic forces that influence U.S. agricultural and general trade policies. The group will explore U.S. government and private sector support, assistance and promotion of international agricultural and other trade, particularly financial. The visitors will also look at education and training opportunities, and related materials for beginner and existing exporters to strengthen their knowledge, and to learn about tools for testing and evaluation.
International Visitors Program
Each year, over 300 professionals from around the world visit Northeast Ohio through the Council’s short and long-term exchange programs. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, International Visitors hosted by the Cleveland Council on World Affairs have been identified by U.S. embassies abroad as emerging leaders in their fields. The Council’s staff and volunteer “citizen diplomats” organize professional meetings, cultural events and home visits for program participants.
By connecting with foreign leaders we strengthen Northeast Ohio’s commercial, cultural and educational ties with the rest of the world. For more information, contact Ryan Ouellette, International Visitors Program Officer, at firstname.lastname@example.org
