Film Screening: Our Man in Tehran

Cleveland Council on World Affairs Presents: A Global Dialogue Forum 

Our Man in Tehran is a Canadian documentary film, profiling the role of Kenneth D. Taylor, Canada’s ambassador to Iran in the 1970s, in resolving the Iran hostage crisis of 1979-1980 by engineering the “Canadian Caper”. This event is presented in partnership with the Canadian Consulate in Detroit. Consul General Douglas George will speak and answer questions following the film. $8 for CCWA members, $10 for non-members, and $5 for students. Seating is limited. Registration is required.

This event is a part of the Cleveland Council on World Affairs Global Dialogue Forum. Going beyond traditional world affairs topics, the Global Dialogue Forum delves into the most pressing social and humanitarian issues  facing our globalized society, including refugee assistance, diplomacy, and global food security.
