April 24, 2014 - April 27, 2014

CCWA will host a group of visitors from Afghanistan, India, and Pakistan who are in the U.S. to learn about public-private partnerships that strengthen regional economic growth. The visitors will also study export education, production efficiency, and the region’s dependable transportation and shipping services.
International Visitors Program
Each year, over 300 professionals from around the world visit Northeast Ohio through the Council’s short and long-term exchange programs. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, International Visitors hosted by the Cleveland Council on World Affairs have been identified by U.S. embassies abroad as emerging leaders in their fields. The Council’s staff and volunteer “citizen diplomats” organize professional meetings, cultural events and home visits for program participants.
By connecting with foreign leaders we strengthen Northeast Ohio’s commercial, cultural and educational ties with the rest of the world. For more information, contact Ryan Ouellette, International Visitors Program Officer, at rouellette@ccwa.org
