Cleveland State University Presents: The Syrian Refugee Crisis: Cleveland’s Response

Cleveland State University’s Office of Civic Engagement invites all to an issue forum on the Syrian refugee crisis and Cleveland’s role in resettling refugees on Friday, February 12 at 4:00PM. This panel discussion will explain Syria’s history leading up to the current crisis, the process of refugee resettlement in Cleveland, firsthand accounts on immigrating to Cleveland, and information on supporting local refugees. The keynote address will be given by Anne C. Richard, Assistant Secretary, U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration. Middle Eastern cuisine will be provided after the event.
