Africa’s Future and Why It’s Important to the U.S.

Ambassador Tibor Nagy currently is vice provost for international affairs at Texas Tech University and served as U.S. Ambassador to Ethiopia from 1999 to 2002 and to Guinea from 1996 to 1999. Ambassador Nagy will explore how the next presidential administration will respond to the need for a successful government policy promoting public-private partnerships and proactive development programs.
