Exchange Program Under Way

Plain Dealer, March 16, 2004

Cleveland is one of three U.S. cities that will be visited by a group of Serbian high school students in April. As part of an exchange program administered locally by the Cleveland Council on World Affairs, the students will attend classes at Orange High School for one week. The students will spend a second week meeting with area government officials and participating in multicultural training.

The visit, which takes place April 10-27, is sponsored by the Access to Community and Civic Enrichment for Students program, which is intended to promote understanding and foster relationships between the citizens of the U.S. and Serbia. The students will also visit Atlanta and Seattle.
