International Careers Networking Night 2018: Presented by Cleveland Council on World Affairs & Summer on the Cuyahoga

Please join the Cleveland Council on World Affairs and Summer on the Cuyahoga as we present a free informal networking event and reception for students interested in international careers in the Foreign Service, the Peace Corps and beyond. Pizza will be served.
Ambassador Heather Hodges, CCWA President and Ambassador-in-Residence, will provide an overview of the U.S. Foreign Service as she shares highlights of her career, including her service as the U.S. Ambassador to Ecuador and Moldova. The U.S. Department of State offers worldwide career opportunities providing an experience where you will connect with the global community, conduct diplomacy by communicating U.S. foreign policy, and explore different cultures while living and working overseas.
Sophia Weinmann, Regional Recruiter, U.S. Peace Corps, will give an overview of joining the Peace Corps and discuss the opportunity to volunteer internationally through the organization.
Camila Negret, Midwest Market Diversity Leader, PwC, has work in Mexico and will explore what opportunities exist within PwC and how to have an international career in the private sector.
Location: Cleveland State University, Fenn Tower, 3rd Floor Ballroom
Fenn Tower is on the corner of E. 24th and Euclid. Free metered parking is available on Chester or Metered CSU parking is available on East 24th St. (South Side of Euclid), or behind Julka Hall off Euclid Ave. a block east of Fenn.
